FLU VACCINATION

We are advising all eligible patients to have the flu jab.  It is important to protect yourselves from the flu this year especially as we still have Covid-19 in the community.

Our flu will be conducted from September 2020 to March 22021.

Please note that people in the 50-64 year old age group will NOT be vaccinated until November and December.  No appointments will be offered for this age group until then, and at that point will be subject to vaccine supply.  This is nationally directed - not the decision of the practice and is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first.

If you are 50-64 and you are in on of the other groups eligible for the flu vaccination for example you have health condition which puts you at risk from the flu - you will be invited earlier.

Please also note Its is not responsibility of practices to organise corona virus tests.  If you have coronavirus symptoms or have been asked to get a test you can visit the gov.ukwebsite to organise this or call 119 if you cannot use the online service.

Please call the surgery to book an appointment.
